Cafe 2 is also an informal Art Gallery. Our “Artist in Residence”, Mr. Alfred Yu, has been displaying his paintings in our restaurant since 2018. An accomplished artist, Alfred paints in the style of the great European Impressionist painters. He brought us some of his best paintings this week and they are available for purchase by the public. All money from selling the paintings will be donated to the UNESCO HK Global Peace Centre https://peacecentre.unesco.hk/ We encourage you to come and view the paintings at dinner as they match nicely with our rustic Mediterranean country decor, and they are a great conversation starter on dates or business dinners! Perhaps we should change our name to “Cafe 2 Oyster n Gallery “? We are open over CNY (closed Saturday only) so have some culture with your meal!
