My dinner tonight — part of my regular “quality control” checks 😉. Scallopine al Limone is a classic dish from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where lemon trees blanket the cliffside terraces overlooking the sea. We use Dutch veal for its famously tender texture, lightly sautéed in butter with lemon zest, lemon juice, a touch of secret herbs, and finished with a generous splash of Limoncello, the iconic Italian lemon liqueur. The result is tender, buttery and bright with citrus, carrying a gentle balance of sweet and tart. Served with roasted carrot, broccolini and roast potato, it’s a healthy, delicious plate that pairs beautifully with an ice‑cold Peroni or a nicely chilled champagne. Not very common in Hong Kong, so come experience it for yourself.
今晚嘅晚餐,又係我日常嘅「質量監察」😉。Scallopine al Limone 係阿馬菲海岸非常受歡迎嘅經典意大利菜,當地滿山滿谷都係檸檬樹,沿住懸崖梯田一路望落去就係大海。我哋選用荷蘭小牛肉,以嫩滑見稱,先以牛油輕煎,再加入檸檬皮、檸檬汁、少量秘製香草,最後以意大利檸檬酒 Limoncello 提味。口感嫩滑、牛油香濃、檸檬清香,再帶少少甜酸平衡。配上烤甘筍、嫩煎西蘭花苗同烤薯仔,健康又好味。無論係冰凍 Peroni 啤酒,定係冰鎮香檳,都係完美配搭。香港唔算太常見,嚟試吓就知點解咁受歡迎。
